Kawtar Zerouali

Kawtar Zerouali currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Natural Assets Team at the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), focusing on innovative finance for climate change since October 2023. Prior experience includes a decade at UNDP, where roles ranged from Regional Innovation Advisor to Deputy Resident Representative in Saudi Arabia and Djibouti, along with managing a regional programme on inclusiveness with a strong emphasis on gender equality and youth empowerment. Kawtar's career began with positions at United Nations Volunteers, the World Bank, and Save the Children International, with a focus on civic engagement, financial planning, and micro-finance. Kawtar holds a Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the School for International Training.
