Charu Vijayakumar

Charu Vijayakumar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in impact evaluation and learning across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director at the United Nations Foundation, Charu leads learning strategies and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems for the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, impacting over 750 organizations and 5,000 learners globally. Previous roles include Technical Advisor at Dexis Consulting Group, where Charu directed large-scale evaluations for USAID and DoS projects, and as a Financial Inclusion Consultant at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, focusing on enhancing financial inclusion strategies in East Africa. Educationally, Charu holds a Master of Public Administration in Development Economics and International Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science and dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and International Development from The Ohio State University.
