Lasse B.

Lasse B. serves as the Director of Climate and Food at the United Nations Foundation since December 2022, following a tenure as Chief Executive Officer at 50by40, where Lasse led efforts to reduce global animal agriculture production by 50% by 2040. Prior experience includes roles as Global Civil Society Lead for the UN Food Systems Summit and Head of Global Campaign Coordination at Climate Action Network. In previous positions at Greenpeace and World Animal Protection, Lasse developed impactful strategies for climate and agricultural campaigns, particularly focusing on renewable energy and sustainable practices. Lasse holds a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell University and a BA in Rhetoric and Linguistics from the University of Copenhagen.
