Maya Moucharrafie

Maya Moucharrafie is a dedicated student with a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies, concentrating on Human Rights, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Currently serving as a Student Engagement and Leadership Development Intern at the YMCA of the University of Illinois, Maya also holds leadership positions as Co President of Global Studies Leaders and National Youth Representative for UNICEF USA in the Midwest Region. Active in multiple organizations, Maya has contributed to UNICEF at UIUC as President and Gala Committee Chair, where responsibilities included organizing events and fundraising. Maya's experience also encompasses roles as a General Member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and a Legal Studies Honors Intern at the Champaign County Circuit Court, showcasing a commitment to legal studies and social research.
