Mathieu J. Shanks is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in capacity-building, project management, and operations within both non-profit and corporate environments. Currently serving as Manager of Capacity-Building, Operations and Expansion at the United Nations Global Compact, Mathieu leads global initiatives and digital transformation efforts while supporting Networks in Western Europe and North America. Previous roles include project management for Blue Yellow Buses, presidency at oikos Copenhagen with a focus on sustainable development, and various project management and coordination positions at Hydro Québec and CPH:DOX. Educational credentials include a Master's in Social Sciences from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM), complemented by studies in International Management at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
