Samir Mammadov is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management, business development, and humanitarian operations. Currently serving as the Country Manager for the United Nations Global Compact in Azerbaijan and a consultant for the Dubai Regional Hub, Samir also holds the position of Managing Partner at Open Networks Azerbaijan since July 2020. Previously, Samir worked in various leadership roles at Nar (Azerfon), overseeing sales and business development from 2013 to 2017, and led operations as the Azerbaijan Country Office Representative for Save the Children US from 2007 to 2013. Additional experience includes advisory roles in social development and education reform for the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Education. Samir possesses a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Education from Lancaster University and holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Georgia State Agriculture University along with an Associate of Arts from the College of Southern Idaho.
