Head Of Participant Engagement at United Nations Global Compact

Stefanie Ros has a diverse work experience in the fields of public affairs, communication, and sustainability. Stefanie currently holds the role of Head of Participant Engagement at the United Nations Global Compact, where they promote sustainable business practices. Prior to that, they served as Director and Senior Advisor at Publyon USA and Dr2 Consultants Shanghai, where they provided strategic advisory services in public affairs and facilitated trade between China and Europe. Stefanie also worked as Director Asian Relations at the Ecommerce Foundation, focusing on the growth of e-commerce and international relations. Stefanie has experience in policy advising at Ecommerce Europe and has worked as a Consultant at Dr2 Consultants, specializing in public affairs and corporate communications. Earlier in their career, they had various customer service roles at Brand New Day and was an intern at the Clingendael Institute, where they conducted research. Stefanie's work experience reflects their commitment to sustainability, communication, and facilitating international trade.

Stefanie Ros completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government, as well as Sociology, from Utrecht University. Stefanie attended University College Utrecht from 2007 to 2010. In 2012, Stefanie participated in a Masterclass on Crisis in Europe at the Montesquieu Institute, focusing on Economics and European Studies. Prior to these higher education experiences, they attended SG Tabor, loc. Oscar Romero from 2000 to 2006, where they completed their Gymnasium education. During this time, Stefanie studied various subjects such as English, Dutch, French, Economics, History, and Maths, among others.

In terms of additional certifications, Stefanie obtained a certification in "Driving business towards the Sustainable Development Goals" from Coursera in July 2021.
