Andrea Romaoli

Andrea Romaoli is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in scientific research, international law, and blockchain technology. Currently serving as a Scientific Researcher at the Standards Council of Canada since November 2023, Andrea also holds multiple roles, including Focal Point Specialist at UNODC and Council Member at the United Nations Human Rights. As an intergovernmental member and international lawyer in Tax Law representing Latin America and the Caribbean for the United Nations, Andrea contributes significantly to global discussions. Involvement with the International Electrotechnical Commission as a CONVENOR in bio-digital convergence, leadership at UN Women as the Leader of Global Compact, and chairing the Malta Chapter of FIBREE further demonstrates Andrea's commitment to integrating technology into various sectors.
