Anusha Arumugam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human rights and legal education. Currently serving as a Coordinator at the Centre of Governance and Human Rights (CGHR) at the University of Cambridge since October 2022, Anusha also holds the position of Myanmar Team Intern at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, where co-drafting the report on the Situation of Human Rights in Myanmar was a significant contribution. Anusha's role as Program Coordinator at Pusat KOMAS focuses on Non-discrimination and Equality, while previous experience includes lecturing in Contract and Land Law at Brickfields Asia College, and interning with Suara Rakyat Malaysia on various human rights issues. Anusha also completed a Pupil-in-Chambers position in civil litigation and arbitration at Shook Lin & Bok Malaysia, and began a career in education as an English Language Teacher. Anusha holds multiple degrees from the University of Cambridge and the University of Liverpool, including an MPhil in Politics and International Studies and an LLM in International Law.
