Fernando Gutierrez Eddy works at UN Women as Chief Resource Mobilization and Donor Relations. He has more than 20 years of surpassing ambitious revenue and partnership goals in Fortune 500 companies and UNICEF. Fernando enjoys turning challenging situations around through strategic planning, driving for cost-effective results, total quality management, team-building, and sustainable WIN-WIN partnering with multiple stakeholders.
Prior to joining UN Women in 2018, Fernando led the Strategic Planning, Field Support, and Advocacy team in UNICEF in New York, in the Public Partnership Division which oversaw 70% of the organization’s revenues. Before that he managed the partnership at UNICEF with Australia and Canada, amongst other governments, focusing especially on health, education, and child protection, as well as humanitarian preparedness and response. Fernando first joined UNICEF in the Private Fundraising & Partnerships division, covering corporate and individual funding partners in Europe and in Latin America.
Fernando is a national from Mexico and grew up in the UK. He holds a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard University and a Masters in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
