Michelle Fredj-Bertrand is a proud UNIS graduate, married to a UNIS alumnus, and mother of a graduate of the UNIS class of 2019. Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Florida International University and had a successful 15 year career in the hotel industry where her last position was Director of International Sales at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City.
Before joining UNIS, Michelle had her own business providing many needed parenting resources to her community and subsequently developed her own French language program for children.
Michelle began her career at UNIS as Director of Annual Fund and Alumni Relations. She was instrumental in creating a culture of giving, building a robust annual fund, creating unique events, and reconnecting alumni back to UNIS. She chaired a sub-committee on school culture as part of the most recent CIS accreditation visit in 2014. Michelle’s understanding of International Education and the UNIS Community are an invaluable asset. Her professional and teaching experience provide a strong base for her current position as Director of Events and Rental Management.
