Patrick Martínez

Patrick Martínez serves as the Associate Director of College Counseling at the United Nations International School since August 2022. Prior to this role, Patrick was the Lead for Scholar Recruitment at Success Academy Charter Schools, where responsibilities included directing a team of five recruiters and constructing a recruitment strategy aimed at achieving 21,000 student applications for 31 elementary schools during the 2022-2023 school year. With extensive experience in admissions, Patrick held various positions at Columbia University from February 2013 to June 2021, including Assistant Director & Coordinator of Admissions for International Programs and Admissions Manager for the Columbia-Sciences Po Dual BA Program. Earlier roles include Financial Aid Counselor at Baruch College and a Public Policy Fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives. Patrick holds an MPA in Global Policy Studies and an MA in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Columbia University, along with a BA with a double major from the University of Virginia.
