Andrej Verity is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information management and digital services, currently serving as the Digital Services technical team lead and AI Transformation Programme Management Officer at United Nations OCHA since August 2004. Andrej's responsibilities include developing and implementing AI strategies, leading cross-functional teams, establishing ethical frameworks, and fostering a culture of innovation within the organization. Previously, Andrej played a pivotal role in managing digital services teams, spearheading projects like HumanitarianResponse.info, and developing critical systems for humanitarian operations. Andrej also co-founded the Digital Humanitarian Network and has held various roles in IT and communications across different organizations, complemented by a Master's degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce.
