Djoeke van Beest

Djoeke Van Beest has extensive experience within the United Nations system, serving in various capacities since 1993, including legal and partner risk management advisor at United Nations OCHA, and previously as head of oversight, compliance, and fraud management. Notable roles include humanitarian affairs officer, evaluation manager, and special assistant to the Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator. Djoeke also held a position in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General focused on development system reform. Early career experience includes roles at the World Food Programme and UNODC as a donor relations officer and criminal justice officer, respectively. Djoeke's academic background includes a Diplôme d'Études Supérieures in International Relations from the Geneva Graduate Institute, a Master of Arts in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam, and a diploma in International Public Law from the University of Montpellier.
