Paola Emerson is a seasoned professional in humanitarian affairs, currently serving as the Head of Office at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) since July 2015. Emerson has held various key positions within the United Nations, including Chief of the Middle East & North Africa Section and Deputy Head of Office at OCHA, as well as Head of the UN Resident Coordinator in the UN Development Group.
