Ramon Shinkfield is a seasoned information management professional with extensive experience in humanitarian response and public health. Currently serving as the Senior Information Management Officer at the United Nations OCHA since March 2020, Ramon leads the Information Management Unit for OCHA Ukraine and previously OCHA Iraq, focusing on enhancing information strategies and collaboration to effectively respond to humanitarian crises. Prior roles include Information and Digital Services Manager at the World Mosquito Program, where Ramon contributed to global health initiatives, and earlier positions with OCHA and RedR Australia, providing critical information management support in conflict-affected regions. Educational qualifications include a Certificate of Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Applied Science in Geospatial Information from RMIT University.
