Ahmed Rasheed Baidoo

Ahmed Rasheed Baidoo has a diverse range of work experience in the field of network infrastructure and operations. AHMED RASHEED is currently working as the Chief Network Infrastructure at the United Nations Office at Nairobi since 2022. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2022, Ahmed worked at Ghana Grid Company Ltd, where they held multiple roles including Network Infrastructure and Operations Supervisor and IP Infrastructure Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for network management, design, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN networks. AHMED RASHEED also played a significant role in project management, maintaining network security, evaluating technology solutions, and providing disaster recovery services. Before joining Ghana Grid Company Ltd, Ahmed worked as a Data Communication and Network Engineer at GLOMOBILE GHANA from 2011 to 2014. AHMED RASHEED'sresponsibilities included configuration, deployment, management, and security audit of the core network infrastructure. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2010, they worked at GLO 1 Nigeria as an IP Services Engineer and SDH Transmissions Engineer, where they gained experience in troubleshooting transmission path problems, performing acceptance tests, and providing technical support to field engineers. Overall, Ahmed has demonstrated expertise in network infrastructure and operations, project management, security auditing, and technical support.

Ahmed Rasheed Baidoo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. AHMED RASHEED also has several additional certifications, including Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert CCIE#54586 (R&S), Data Center Engineering Specialist (DCES), Data Center Infrastructure Expert (DCIE), Data Center Infrastructure Specialist (DCIS), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP R&S, and Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA R&S. These certifications were obtained between 2011 and 2016 from institutions such as Cisco and IDCA - International Data Center Authority.
