Eric Mungai

Eric Mungai has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Eric is currently working as a General Surgeon at Kiambu Sub-County Level 5 Hospital since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical Doctor at the United Nations Office at Nairobi starting from March 2022. Eric also served as a Medical Officer Consultant at the same organization from May 2016 to August 2018.

In addition, Eric worked as a Senior Medical Officer (Part-time) at AAR Health Services (U) from January 2013 to May 2016. Eric also gained experience as a Senior Medical Officer at Aspen Medical from December 2014 to June 2015. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Medical Officer at The Nairobi Hospital from December 2008 to December 2012.

Eric began their medical career as a Medical Officer at the Ministry of Health Kenya, working from February to December 2008. Eric also served as a Medical Officer Intern at the same organization from February 2007 to February 2008.

Eric Mungai has a Master's degree in General Surgery from Mbarara University of Science & Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Nairobi. In addition to their academic qualifications, Eric has also obtained several certifications. These include "Managing Safely" from ASTUTIS, "Occupational Health and Safety for Health Workers in the Context of COVID-19" from the World Health Organization, and "Improving Global Health: Focusing on Quality and Safety" from Harvardx on edX.
