Giba Koroma

Giba Koroma is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in budget management and financial analysis, currently serving as a Finance and Budget Officer at the United Nations Office at Nairobi since January 2020. Prior to this role, Giba held positions as a Finance and Budget Officer at the United Nations Environment Programme from June 2015 to December 2019 and as an Associate Budget Officer at the United Nations Office at Nairobi from May 2012 to May 2015. Giba's career began at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, where a role as Senior Financial Management Specialist was held from September 2004 to April 2012. Giba holds an ACCA in Accounting and Finance from APMG and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Accounting and Finance from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, as well as an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Wales.
