Dr. Kiki Didigu

Dr. Kiki Didigu is a seasoned public health and population specialist with extensive experience at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) since December 2012. As a Senior Interagency Specialist and Lead for the Decade of Action, Dr. Didigu has guided technical work and political strategy for the 2018 ICPD Regional Reviews, leading to significant consensus resolutions across multiple regions. Previous roles include Post-2015 Technical Specialist, where Dr. Didigu advocated for the integration of UNFPA's mandate into the SDG monitoring framework, and ICPD Beyond 2014 Technical Specialist, contributing to pivotal analyses on population and development. Earlier professional experience spans clinical and educational roles in organizations such as Columbia University and Medicaid Radiodiagnostics, with a strong focus on health promotion and HIV awareness in Nigeria. Dr. Didigu holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
