Florence Bauer

Florence Bauer is a seasoned international development professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Since July 2022, Florence serves as the Regional Director at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Prior to this role, Florence was the UNICEF Representative for Brazil from July 2017 to June 2022 and for Argentina from August 2014 to July 2017. Florence's tenure at UNICEF includes various positions from 1999 to 2014, such as UNICEF Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Deputy Representative for Peru, Planning Officer for Brazil, and Communication Officer.
