Joan Jubran is an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) since October 2021. Prior to this role, Joan served as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist at Cowater International from August 2018 to October 2021, focusing on generating revenue opportunities for women and youth in the West Bank. Additional experience includes freelance consulting in organizational development and various specialist roles in strategic planning and evaluation with organizations such as the Representative Office of Denmark, MA’AN Development Centre, and the Independent Commission for Human Rights. Joan holds a Master's degree in Development and International Cooperation from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and has completed courses in Health and Human Rights from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Social and Economic Policy Research from Birzeit University.
