Muqaddar Shah

Muqaddar Shah has extensive experience in population and development, currently serving as a Program & Technical Analyst at UNFPA since July 2008, where key responsibilities include leadership and management of population development initiatives, as well as operational support for projects. Previously, Muqaddar served as the Census Project Coordinator, facilitating and coordinating the census project in collaboration with the National Statistical Office and UN agencies. Earlier professional roles include Protection Manager at the International Rescue Committee, overseeing emergency response efforts for earthquake-related projects, and as a Repatriation/Protection Facilitator and Team Leader at UNHCR, managing field operations related to Afghan refugee repatriation. Muqaddar holds an M.Sc in Statistics from the University of Peshawar.
