Valentina Volpe

Valentina Volpe serves as a Regional GBV Technical Specialist at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) since November 2022, bringing extensive experience in Gender Based Violence (GBV) and women's empowerment programming across various regions. Prior roles include EVAW Regional Programme Specialist at UN Women and Regional Programme Specialist at UNFPA, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of GBV strategies, development of country programs, financial management, and coordination across multiple countries in the Asia Pacific and MENA regions. Valentina's educational background includes an MBA in Business and Human Resources Development from the University of Leicester, a Master's in Peacekeeping Management from Università degli Studi di Torino, and training in Gender Studies through the ERASMUS project.
