Aki Wijesundara

Aki Wijesundara, PhD, currently serves as a Senior AI Consultant at the United Nations and co-founder of multiple companies, including SnapDrum and Krybe, where Aki holds positions as drummer and CTO, respectively. Aki is also a partner and CTO at Tilli and co-founder and instructor at The AI Internship, teaching machine learning operations. Previous roles include Lead Machine Learning Engineer at MainStreet Partners and Founder and Chairperson of the Sustainable Education Foundation. Aki has participated in Google's AI Accelerator program and led paper reading sessions on machine learning research at Taro (YC S22). Aki's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from The Open University and postdoctoral research in Machine Learning from King's College London.
