Bimpe Bamgbose-Martins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in civil society representation and leadership. Currently serving as a Civil Society Representative in the Department of Global Communications at the United Nations since January 2017, Bimpe also holds the position of President at the Strategy for Mentoring Initiative and Leadership Empowerment (S.M.I.L.E) since May 2011 and has been the CEO of Matokins Nigeria Limited since 1993. Previously, Bimpe served as the Regional Ambassador for West Africa for the International Third World Leaders Association from November 2016 to March 2022. Educational achievements include completion of the Strategic Frameworks for Nonprofit Organizations Program at Harvard Kennedy School in 2016 and earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Ibadan between 1987 and 1991.
