Christopher O'Donnell is a seasoned international professional with extensive experience in counter-terrorism, disarmament, and peacekeeping operations. Currently serving as the Senior Field Coordinator at the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism since March 2010, O'Donnell advises senior leadership on establishing global offices, leading strategic assessments, and overseeing a 100-member team across various international locations. Previous roles include Chief of the Strategic Coordination Section at the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism, and various positions within DPKO, notably focusing on disarmament and demobilization efforts in conflict zones such as Haiti and the Democratic Republic of Congo. O'Donnell holds a Master’s Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Ulster University and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
