Elisabeth Neugebauer currently serves as a Political Affairs Officer at the United Nations Office of Counter Terrorism, where responsibilities include engaging in policy and knowledge management within the organization. Previously, Elisabeth held the position of Deputy Special Representative of INTERPOL to the United Nations, enhancing collaboration between INTERPOL and various UN entities on peace and security matters, and successfully leading the adoption of significant UN resolutions. Elisabeth also served as an International Advisor to the Austrian Minister of the Interior, providing expertise on international peace and security and facilitating EU negotiations. Educational qualifications include an LL.M. in International Relations from the University of Southern California, a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Vienna, and additional training in negotiation from Harvard Kennedy School.
