M.D. Ziaur Rahman

Md. Ziaur Rahman is an experienced procurement professional with a diverse background in managing procurement activities across various organizations since 2004. Currently serving as a Procurement Officer (Team Leader-Engineering Procurement) at the United Nations since June 2021, Md. Ziaur Rahman's responsibilities include supervising and building capacity for implementing partners and ILO projects while conducting procurement activities for country offices. Previous roles include Head of Procurement at the International Labour Organization, Manager of Procurement & Supply Chain at Save the Children International, and various procurement associate positions with UNDP and LGSP-II, among others. Md. Ziaur Rahman holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Dhaka and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
