Melissa Sax

Melissa Sax has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries, primarily in the field of human resources and talent acquisition. Melissa currently holds the position of Vice President Human Resources at UNFI since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Director Human Resources at UNFI from November 2017 to August 2020. Before joining UNFI, Melissa worked at SUPERVALU from 2011 to 2019, where they held various roles, including Director of Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Senior Manager. Melissa also has experience in recruitment and sales at Ceridian and Eschelon Telecom. Additionally, Melissa served as a Dance Team Director at Minnesota Timberwolves and worked in executive recruitment at Marshall Field's and Robert Half International. Their early career also included roles as a Staffing Manager and Senior Staffing Manager at Robert Half International-Accountemps.

Melissa Sax attended the University of Minnesota but did not complete a degree. Melissa later obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from Concordia University-St. Paul.
