Philip Swedlow

Philip Swedlow has a diverse work experience in the field of procurement and management. Philip is currently working as the Vice President of Procurement at UNFI since April 2023. Previously, they held positions such as Senior Director and Director of Procurement at the same company. Philip also served as the Forecasting & Analytics Manager and National Purchasing Process Improvement Manager, where they focused on procurement analytics, process improvement, and strategic design.

Prior to working at UNFI, Philip gained experience as the Purchasing Manager at Tony's Fine Foods, where they were responsible for managing purchases of $7.5M per week across 1,400 vendors and 30,000 skus. Philip successfully improved the overall service level and developed key metric tracking systems for improved performance.

Before joining the procurement industry, they worked as an Assistant Grocery Manager at Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op and as a Courtesy Clerk at Albertsons.

Philip Swedlow attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Applied Mathematics & Statistics. Philip also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics & Statistics from California State University-Sacramento.
