Steven Theisen

Steven Theisen, CPA has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Steven is currently serving as the Director of Revenue Accounting at UNFI since November 2022. Prior to this, Steven worked at KPMG US for several years, starting as an Audit Associate in 2013 and rising to the positions of Senior Audit Associate, Audit Manager, and eventually Senior Manager of Audit. Steven also gained valuable experience as a Finance Support at SICK, Inc., an Audit Intern at KPMG US, and an Internal Audit Intern at John Deere. Steven's early career included roles as a Student Coordinator of Finance at Drake University, a Tax Accounting Intern at Denman & Company, LLP, and an Accounts Payable Specialist at SICK INC. Overall, they have a diverse background in auditing, accounting, finance, and tax, making him a well-rounded professional in the industry.

Steven Theisen, CPA has a strong educational background in accounting. Steven obtained their BSBA degree in Accounting from Drake University in 2012. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters degree in Accounting from the same university in 2011-2012. Additionally, they hold the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy.
