Carly Layman is an experienced instructional designer and technical writer with a career spanning over 18 years, primarily at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) since October 2006. In the role of Instructional Designer, Carly manages full-cycle projects, utilizing tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe PowerPoint to create online courses and job aids, while applying adult learning methodologies. Previous positions at UNOS included roles as a Technical Writer, where Carly translated technical concepts for non-technical audiences, Trainer/Educator III, and Technology Implementation Coordinator. Additionally, Carly managed social media platforms and design for West Elm from October 2018 to July 2024, enhancing brand awareness through creative content.
