Jan de Maeght

Jan De Maeght has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jan began their career as a Medical Representative for major pharmaceutical companies from 2003 to 2006. Jan then joined VIVISOL as a Hospital Representative, where they were responsible for convincing key opinion leaders to work with their products, training nurses in machinery, and providing after-sales services. Jan also played a role in organizing congresses and introducing new products.

After their tenure with VIVISOL, Jan worked as a Hospital Representative for Romed from 2010 to 2012, promoting their products in hospitals. Jan then became a Product Specialist for Tornier Orthopedics, focusing on knee, hip, and shoulder products from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they joined SomnoMed as a Product Specialist, specializing in Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) products in the Benelux region.

Jan's career took a leap when they joined Johnson & Johnson in 2015 as a Sales Consultant for Depuy-Synthes. Jan played a pivotal role in driving sales and providing consultations until 2019, after which they became a Territory Manager for Flanders for the same company until early 2020.

Currently, Jan De Maeght serves as the Commercial Director for Belgium at United Orthopedic Corporation, a position they have held since December 2022.

Jan De Maeght attended KA Sint-Michiels Brugge from 1995 to 1997, where they completed their ASO degree in Mens-sportwetenschappen. Following that, they enrolled at HOGENT from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained their Geaggregeerde sec onderwijs hogere cyclus degree in Physics and Sport.
