Kah Kit Yip

Kah Kit Yip currently holds the position of Group Head of Blockchain and Digital Assets at UOB since July 2025. Prior to this role, Kah Kit served as an Advisor at the Bank for International Settlements from January 2023 to June 2025. A significant portion of Kah Kit's experience was at Bank Negara Malaysia, where roles included Deputy Director in various departments from January 2007 to June 2025, focusing on policy development in payment services, innovation in fintech, and promoting a safe payment landscape. Key achievements include leading the development of the Real-time Retail Payments Platform, fostering responsible innovation, and contributing to the Financial Sector Blueprint 2022-2026. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Laws from The London School of Economics and Political Science and completion of the Crypto and Digital Assets for Regulators Programme at Cambridge Judge Business School.
