Ong Chong Tee

Mr Ong was appointed to the Board on 1 January 2023. He is a member of the Board Risk Management Committee and Executive Committee.

Mr Ong has 35 years of work experience with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and last served as its Deputy Managing Director for 16 years. He had worked in various key functions of MAS ranging from monetary policy, investment management, financial development and financial supervision.

Currently, Mr Ong serves as the Chairman of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority and is a director of ChainUp Group and its affiliated entity Bedrock Trust, and Arab Regional Payments Clearing and Settlement Organization. He is also a member of the GIC Risk Committee and the Council for Board Diversity. He had previously served on the boards of Central Provident Fund Board, Housing & Development Board, Singapore Land Authority and Urban Redevelopment Authority.

Mr Ong graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the National University of Singapore.

He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Gold) (Bar) in 2021.
