Dr. Hüseyin ŞEN, PhD.

Dr. Hüseyin ŞEN, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of finance and technology. Dr. Hüseyin began their career at Siemens as a System Analyst/Programmer from 1988 to 1991, followed by a role as a System Analyst/Programmer at TES Computer from 1991 to 1993. From 1993 to 1996, Dr. ŞEN worked as a Project Leader at Yapı Kredi, where they were responsible for managing and implementing retail banking projects.

In 1996, they joined Egebank, Universal Kart A.Ş. as a Manager, where they oversaw the design and implementation of payment systems and retail banking projects. During this time, Dr. ŞEN contributed to various projects such as POS Transaction Processing Applications, POS Parameter&Terminal Management System, ATM application, IVR application, and interfaces for other financial systems using ISO8583 message protocol.

From 1999 to 2001, Dr. ŞEN served as an Application Development Manager at Türk Ticaret Bankası, where they were responsible for designing, implementing, and managing retail banking projects. Dr. Hüseyin worked on projects such as the development of an ATM application and the creation of a 912 driver.

In 2001, Dr. ŞEN joined Garanti Teknoloji as a Senior Software Specialist and worked there until 2016. During their tenure, they acquired expertise in software development.

From 2016 to 2018, Dr. ŞEN worked as a Consultant at Mastercard, where they focused on payment transaction processing services application development and credit and debit/prepaid card application development.

In 2019, Dr. ŞEN joined Softtech as a Business Architect & Scrum Master and served until 2021. Dr. Hüseyin then worked at Pazarama as a Senior Product Owner/Project Manager from 2021 to 2022.

Currently, Dr. ŞEN holds the position of Business Analysis Manager at United Payment, where they started in October 2022.

Dr. Hüseyin ŞEN, Ph.D., obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from Hacettepe University from 1983 to 1987. Afterwards, they pursued an MBA in Management and Organization from Beykent University. Dr. Hüseyin also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour from the same institution. Currently, they are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration at Doğuş University, with an expected completion date in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Hüseyin ŞEN has obtained additional certifications. Dr. Hüseyin earned a First-Aid certification from Hayat Yıldızı in June 2015. Dr. Hüseyin also completed training in Methodologies and Applications of Project Management and obtained a PMI-PMP Exam Preparation certification from Istanbul Kurumsal Gelişim, although specific dates are not provided for these certifications.
