Salim Adofo is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community engagement, media production, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Project Coordinator at Workforce Development & Lifelong Learning at UDC and Chairperson of Advisory Neighborhood Commission 8C, Salim Adofo also holds positions on the Board of Directors for the United Planning Organization and as Chairperson of the Criminal Justice Committee for the NAACP. With extensive experience as a freelance producer at DCTV and journalist for NY Amsterdam News, Salim Adofo has produced over 100 television shows and served as a national correspondent. Additional roles include Executive Producer at Fairfax Public Access and Radio Producer at Arlington Independent Media, along with a focus on eviction prevention at Empower DC. Salim Adofo’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of the District of Columbia and specialized training from Naval Justice School and Army Finance School.
