Timothy Simmons, Ph.D., PMP, serves as a Senior Program Manager at United Protective Technologies since February 2019, leading a diverse portfolio of SBIR, commercial, and congressionally funded projects in various fields including aerospace and hypersonics. Previous roles include Vice President and Director of R&D and Product Development at INI Power Systems, where leadership involved the design and development of portable power products, as well as multidisciplinary engineering collaboration. Timothy's career started as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Florida, contributing to alternative fuel engineering research and continuing through positions such as Design Engineer at Foraxis Design Solutions and Insight Product Development. Timothy holds advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida and Kettering University, and a Master's in Interdisciplinary Product Development from Carnegie Mellon University.
