Sherry Oommen

Sherry Oommen has a diverse range of work experience in the construction and real estate industry. Sherry began their career as a Site Engineer at G. A. K. Patel & Sons in 1991. Sherry then worked as a Project Manager at A/S Noremco from 1993 to 1999. Sherry continued to gain experience in project management and held the role of Projects Manager at Group Five & Italframe from 2000 to 2001. Sherry then served as the Director of Operations at Zam Construction Ltd. from 2001 to 2003. Sherry further expanded their skills as a Project Coordinator at M. A. Kharafi & Sons from 2003 to 2004. In 2005, they joined Kuwait United Development as a Projects Director and stayed in this role until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as the Projects Department Manager at The Commercial Real Estate Co. Following this, they served as a Projects Manager at French Decoration Center from 2012 to 2013. Sherry's most recent roles include Senior Projects Director at United Real Estate Company (URC) from 2013 to 2022, Director of Construction from 2020 to 2023, and currently, they hold the position of SVP - Constructions at URC.

Sherry Oommen has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering from NSS College of Engineering, which they obtained from 1986 to 1990. Sherry also completed a Pre-Degree Course at Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram from 1983 to 1985. Furthermore, they attended Sangu Secondary School in Mbeya, Tanzania and Umoja Primary School, also in Mbeya, Tanzania, but no specific start and end years were provided for these secondary and primary education experiences.
