Maryann Capursi

Maryann Capursi is a dedicated education professional currently working as a Realtor Associate at United Real Estate since May 2024. With extensive experience in the education sector, Maryann has served as a Mathematics Educator at Jersey City Public Schools since September 2003, primarily focusing on grades K-5, including roles as a Math Coach and teaching Gifted and Talented programs, English as a Second Language, and general education in inclusion classrooms. Additionally, Maryann has been an elected Commissioner and 1st Vice President of the Passaic County School Boards Association since August 2011, as well as the Chairperson of the Curriculum Committee. Past roles include teaching positions at the Boys and Girls Club of Hudson County and the Hoboken-North Hudson YMCA. Maryann holds a Master of Arts in Urban Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Elementary Education, both from New Jersey City University.
