Paul McDonough

Paul McDonough is a seasoned professional in soccer management with extensive experience across various roles in the sport. Currently, McDonough serves as President and Chief Soccer Officer at the United Soccer League (USL) since May 2023. Prior positions include Chief Soccer Officer at Wasserman, Sporting Director and COO at Inter Miami CF, and Vice President at Atlanta United FC, among others. McDonough has a significant background in player representation, having worked at Wasserman Media Group, where representation included numerous professional soccer players. Earlier coaching roles were held at UCONN Athletics, University of South Carolina Athletics, and Wake Forest University. McDonough earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from the University of South Carolina Upstate.
