Bill Kimbel

Bill Kimbel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bill started their career at Compaq/Digital Equipment Corporation, where they worked as a Regional Sales Manager. During their time there, they tripled OEM sales in their territory and developed and managed relationships with OEMs and manufacturing representatives.

Afterwards, Bill joined Force Computers as a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for all OEM sales in the Southeastern States. Bill also trained and managed Manufacturer Representatives and drove sales to meet or exceed forecasts.

Bill then worked as a Senior Sales Manager at Fonix, where they managed the transition of DECtalk Sales to Fonix Corporation after an acquisition. Bill was responsible for selling Fonix speech products to Computer Telephony/Server and Assistive OEM and VAR customers.

Following their tenure at Fonix, Bill joined Pen-Tech Associates as a Sales Engineer. Bill represented fourteen manufacturers to customers in multiple states and sold embedded computers, touch screen devices, industrial cameras, and networking devices.

Next, Bill joined Office Systems Consultants (OSC) as a Sales Executive, selling records management and document imaging products to assigned customers in Florida and Georgia. Bill also assisted in the rollout of the oscFile Document Imaging System to these customers.

Currently, Bill works at United Solutions Company as a Sales Manager. Bill is responsible for selling the company's records management and document imaging products to various customers, including government, healthcare, and banking sectors. Bill also played a role in the acquisition and integration of OSC into United Solutions Company's product set.

Bill Kimbel attended Fayetteville Technical Institute from 1963 to 1965, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1971 to 1973, earning a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree in Computer/Electronic Technology.
