Brian H. serves as a Senior Policy Analyst for the United South and Eastern Tribes, beginning in October 2020, focusing on advocacy for the rights of thirty-three federally recognized Tribal Nations. Prior to this role, Brian was a Research & Policy Analyst and Consultant at the Arizona State University American Indian Policy Institute from August 2016 to October 2020, where contributions included policy analysis and organizing events related to Tribal telecommunications. Brian has significant experience with the National Congress of American Indians, including roles on the FirstNet Executive Committee, FirstNet Public Safety Advisory Committee, and Chair of the FirstNet Tribal Working Group, advocating for Tribal concerns in public safety communications. Other roles include legislative positions, internships, and research initiatives across various organizations, complemented by a Master's degree in Science and Technology Policy from Arizona State University and a B.A. in Native American Studies from the University of New Mexico.
