Ian Ruder

Editor-in-chief, New Mobility Magazine/media at United Spinal Association

Ian Ruder is an accomplished editor and writer with extensive experience in media and communications. Currently serving as Editor-in-Chief of New Mobility magazine at the United Spinal Association since April 2011, Ruder oversees content creation and manages freelance contributors. Previous roles include Senior Editor and Editor of Life in Action magazine, as well as Associate Editor at Slice Magazine. Ruder's freelance work includes contributions to The Oregonian, OregonLive.com, and other outlets, focusing on sports and feature writing. Ruder holds a Master's degree in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor's degree in History and English from Portland State University, alongside a Master's degree from the University of Oregon.

United Spinal Association is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization formed in 1946 by paralyzed veterans who pioneered the disability rights movement.
