Austin Winkler

Austin Winkler serves as the Executive Officer to the Commanding General at the Army Sustainment Command since January 2020, following various leadership roles including Battalion Executive Officer for the 725th Brigade Support Battalion (Airborne) and BCT S4 for the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division. Throughout a military career starting in 2011, Austin has held positions such as Operations Officer at the Army-Air Force Exchange Service Headquarters and Company Commander for E Forward Support Company, 1-52nd Aviation Regiment. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Supply Chain Management from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Master of Operational Studies from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. Undergraduate studies encompass a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from California State University-Sacramento and two Associate's degrees from Folsom Lake College.
