Emily Schumacher-Novak

Emily Schumacher-Novak is an experienced professional in education outreach and advocacy, currently serving as the Associate Director for Education Outreach in the Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops since July 2018. Previously, Emily held the role of Assistant Director for Education and Outreach at Cardinal Stritch University and served as Program Coordinator for the Franciscan Servant Scholars. At Marquette University, Emily coordinated advocacy services and prevention education related to sexual violence, while also fulfilling various roles within Campus Ministry, including Liturgy and Retreats director. Early career experience includes an Echo Apprentice position at St. Anne St. Augustin Parish in Manchester, NH. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Theology from Marquette University, along with coursework in Christian Spirituality and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Theology from Marquette University.
