Yalda Royan

Yalda Royan currently serves as Program Coordinator at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops since February 2023. Prior roles include Community Engagement Coordinator at Northern Virginia Community College and Country Technical Team Lead at VOICE Amplified. Yalda's consultancy experience encompasses work with The World Bank on Gender Based Violence and Health, as well as a deputy leadership role at Development Alternatives Incorporated. Additional expertise is reflected through previous positions as a gender advisor and specialist for various organizations, including UN Women and Oxfam. Yalda holds a Master of Arts in Gender and Women's Studies from Kabul University, alongside a Bachelor of Laws from Gawharshad Institute of Higher Education. Current studies in Gender and Women's Studies continue at Kabul University.
