Paul Watanabe is a legal professional with extensive experience in judicial and legal research. Currently serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States Courts since October 2017, Paul gained valuable experience as a Summer Associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP in 2016 and as a Law Clerk at Weidmann & Farrar PC from 2012 to 2014. Additional roles include a Law Library Research Assistant and Research Assistant to Professor Barnett at USC Gould School of Law, where Paul earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from 2014 to 2017. An academic background in Economics and Political Science was obtained from Brown University, culminating in an A.B. degree in 2012. Prior experiences also include internships at the Providence Office of Senator Whitehouse and various roles at 95.5 WBRU and Brown University Library from 2009 to 2012.
