Christine Devine (MacKrell)

Christine Devine (MacKrell) has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Christine is currently serving as the Director of Education and Professional Development at the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), where they previously held the positions of Education and Professional Development Manager and Education and Professional Development Coordinator. Prior to their work at USGIF, Christine was a Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University and a Research Intern at The Brookings Institution. Christine also gained experience as an Intern at the American Association of Geographers and the Office of Senator Tim Kaine. Additionally, they worked as a Campaign Intern for the Democratic Party of Virginia and held roles at Bonefish Grill and as a Lab Aid and Administrative Assistant at the University of Mary Washington. Christine Devine (MacKrell) completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Geography at The George Washington University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government, as well as Geography, from the University of Mary Washington, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
